A Canonical URL is a direct link to a product's detail page that contains keywords pulled by Amazon, seemingly from the product's title and separated by hyphens.

Amazon generates this URL for search engines to find your product. Adjusting this URL helps sellers get indexed so their product is ranked higher and found more easily.

Since a quarter of Amazon’s traffic comes from search engines, it’s important to rank well on them.

Remember these points while creating a Canonical URL.

a)      When setting up the listing, just do your research and figure out which are the best (most relevant and searched) 5 keywords you want to target.

b)      Keywords must be used in sequence in Title.

c)      Keep in my mind one thing while creating Canonical URL all things (title, description & Images) can be changed in future but Canonical URL cannot be changed without open a case with Amazon.

Canonical Url helps in organic ranking of the listings on Google.
